Sharks Ice at San Jose, the San Jose Sharks and San Jose Barracuda ice training center, continues to be one of the most utilized public ice facilities in the United States. Along with the training and administrative facilities for the two professional hockey teams, the facility features five ice rinks, a full service restaurant, player locker rooms, a conference room, and open areas for public and family events. Typically, Sharks Ice at San Jose annually welcomes over 1.5 million visitors. In 2022, the ice center opened Tech CU Arena, a state-of-the-art 4,200-seat arena and the new home of the Barracuda.
Programs offered at Sharks Ice at San Jose include figure skating, ice hockey, speed skating, ice dancing, curling, power classes, precision teams, weekly public skating sessions, and a free-use program.
